About a year ago I started watching your videos and livestreams over again from the beginning. And omg, in one of the 2016 or 2017 livestreams thrre were one level you used like an hour on because you didn't realize that the bomb could blow up more than just the blocks that are touching it.

1:00:00 I have a suspicion that spikes changed in Mario Maker 2 not because of crappy levels, but because the hitbox had a left side bias. They fixed the bug so the hitbox is the same on both sides, but inadvertently made pixel perfect jumps a thing. So I don't expect them to revert to Mario Maker 1 spikes verbatim, but perhaps they'll give us the best of both worlds.
