That silver tacoma is what my Tacoma looked like before my IFS ball joint broke coming off a curb, S.A.Swap and that isn't a problem anymore, always remember, yes it may work great stock, but it ain't going to last, and when you ditch the shyt IFS and preform the sex change to a IFS vehicle and put an actual real axle in it , it goes from "Great for stock" to "Dam that Mudder Trucker goes" 😂

@66Duffman The mud gets old with me pretty quickly, although you guys are very lucky to have the spot, Here in Long Island, we have nothing! We used to have a couple decent spots but it all got developed, there's millions of people on these islands! To fuckin many people!

I used to have a 79 Chevy Luv 4X4. mud = stuck. I used to do a good job of it. Needed a Cat D2 crawler to get pulled out a couple of times.

Different soils. That Azusa looks like wet, sandy soil. Up around here it's wet clay. Your tread fills up, your wheel wells pack up.. You can build a Mission out of this stuff. Hollister Hills SRVA up here. The whole lower ranch is clay. When it rains, they just close it off. The Upper ranch is Schist. Decomposed granite. It drains. About the only time its fun is when its wet. When it dries, it bakes solid.

I remember when I thought romping through the mud was all there was offroad, then in 03 my very experienced in offroad friend brought me to Rausch Creek PA offroad park and we hit blue & black trails, and we're driving on rocks all day! I remember asking TJ , "How the FK am I going to make it through this?" And he said "Don't worry, I'll get you through this" and he did! I don't think we ever went back to the mud hole, I was hooked! I still can't believe we drive on rocks! I've brought people who get it, and I've brought people who don't get it, it's not for everyone! So if playing in the mud is all you want to do? Then so be it, but I love the exploration of it, the challenge of getting from point A to point B , I remember having to knock Pennsylvania clay off my rig with a freaking hammer! And 5+ hours of cleaning muck off ! I so don't want to go back to the beginning! Cause you learn really quickly, mud fks up your rig, and it's fun but you don't really get anywhere, but it is fun 😜
