Can you please share the link to your mavic air short film at 3:50 ?
@Joe-in9sj5 жыл бұрын
Zach Ramelan Yes! that’s what I thought, because there’s no way a DJI product could fly like that. Especially when he punches out and the drone’s view was stabilizing at an slight angle to the side, that will only be smooth and doable in acro mode, which is a full manual flight mode that most consumer drones simply don’t have. It requires a lot of skill and knowledge about electronics and flying to do anything close to what he was doing, and his set up still have prop guards for safety. The closest thing I would describe his set up as will be a beefed up brushless “whoop” set up. I am glad you do know what you are talking about after all, however I wish our an make it more explicit in the video. I am afraid the there might be someone who saw your video and try to fly through someone’s face with a mavic air. Not only is it quite dangerous, but it will be quite frustrating for someone new to the hobby.

Well, my friend and professional associate colleague. That was one of the best articulated explanations. Of your shooting style and techniques. I was wondering about that. He's flying this backwards. How does he know where he's going? Were these just a set of preprogrammed waypoints? I wondered? After running it in forward, first? But your explanation, provided those answers. And I figured that was you under that cabana. When the drone flew by that person's face. Was that person reading a book? Yes a drone book remote control. And was watching television.. You are making. That was fabulous! And so this is the original MAVIC Air-1.. And I was just thinking about a MAVIC Mini. For my first ever cinematic drone. But then they recently came out with that Air-2. And oh my. It's twice the cost. And I'm going to have to save much longer for that one. But then it was the same with my 35mm Nikon FTN and Nikon F-2. Some nearly 40 years ago. Yeah with extra NICOR lenses. And which is all basically worthless today. I should have sold that years ago. It's such a shame. My beautiful 35mm film cameras. Now just museum pieces. And my big old 3 chip Canon lens based studio cameras are too large to fly. Only 525 lines of resolution but approximately 900 in anamorphic mode. And everybody wondered how I was getting high Rez out of a standard Rez camcorder. DUH It helps to read everything about what you want to purchase. To make an intelligent decision. So basically I see the DJI line of drones. As the only true, proconsumer oriented, cinematic drones. They can deliver! And everyone says. You basically can't lose with a DJI drone. You'll get the shots you want. More easily. Because they are designed with cinematic professionals, in mind. This Chinese company knows what they are doing! The rest really don't. The rest are toys. They look awful. In the hands of awful beginners. I really hate the way these amateurs demonstrate their drones they really don't know how to fly worth a shit. They don't know how to fly anything. They treat it like a ground-level toy battery-operated robotic car. What the FUCK? They have as much photography finesse. As some drunk vomiting on your shoes. Because their videos are basically vomitus. And this is their demonstration ha ha ha. But it's nothing to laugh at. It's amateur hour by a clueless moron little fat beer belly obese gray-haired guys. Who are about as articulate as Bozo the clown. They sure know how to show an un-boxing. I would like to present them with an actual boxer. Not a dog either. Somebody who would smash them in the face for such an awful demonstration of a clueless reckless drone operator. And they always want to be in the shot... Why? They are not good to look at. They are short and fat stupid and gray. Just what I want to see. Hell no! Now Sam, you might think there are better Johnny on the spot FPV pilots. But you have a true Hollywood cinematic eye. And you know how to generate an appropriate matching separate soundtrack. Without the sound of the god damn fucking drone! Bravo Sir! You have my utmost professional respect. As a professional. In the business for over 50 years. You are a true professional. You got what it takes. To take your career much further. I mean folks like car dealers would be an idiot not to hire your services. Shopping centers and the like. Realtors, shooting the interior and exterior shots. Of homes. You are accomplished at this. You are a true professional. I am very impressed by your work. And nobody has really impressed me like you have. And with your beautiful articulate professional explanations of your shooting techniques. Nobody is that articulate! Yeah baby! You definitely got my attention. So I think I shall pass on the MAVIC Mini. And go right to the MAVIC Air-2. And I need to get plenty of, polarizing ND filters and that anamorphic lens adapter. And the Fly More, combo. So I'm looking at $1000 of an investment. Instead of half that much. For the entry-level toy MAVIC Mini they make. And that's no toy. And I might still consider that one? Just to get started with. I mean it seems to me. You are basically running your Air. Without the anticollision sensors on? And that's because you first practiced going slow. The same way a fine accomplished musician learns and intricate complicated piece of music. You start playing it slow. And then you keep speeding it up until you come up to tempo. But that doesn't really need to be done that way with a drone. When you can control the speed in postproduction. And so would this mean. One should perhaps always shoot at 120 FPS? Playback at 120 FPS and then converted to 24P at 30 FPS? I mean that Burns a memory chip a lot quicker. And then when something fast happens. You have the actual proper looking slow-motion capture. And then back to 30 frames per second. 29.97 or whatever. And always shooting at 120 FPS? Then even playing it back at a faster speed. Should provide for more cinematic fluidity should it not? I guess I'm going to have to find out for myself? I love the slow-motion at 120 FPS. It's just so fabulous to be able to manipulate time that way. Thanks for this fabulous instructive explanatory technical video! I would hire you tomorrow if I could. I would want you on my team of production professionals. I only surround myself with the best. Even those who are better than me. That makes me look even better. And then you get even better. Working with the best people. Amateurs don't realize that. At a network television facility. You are working with the best professionals and learning from them. Beyond that which you already know. And it only keeps taking you to the next levels up. With or without a drone. But more fun with one. The ideal unlimited camera Jib/Crane. Look Ma, no wires! No tripod. No boom arm. No, 150 pounds of barbell weights at the back. You have to schlep, around. FUCK that! I only need something I can stick in my pocket now? I only need something I can stick in my pocket now, obviously. What am I going to do with the tens of thousands of dollars of studio level equipment? I'm not inside the nightclubs anymore. There aren't any nightclubs anymore. And what better can you get in the social distancing? When you can be with all of your friends from 1 km away? Or a mile? Don't let them touch your drone. They might get germs all over it. Yuck. So steer clear and fly free! Free as a god damn dodo bird. We have never seen fly. That I could imagine. They likely bumped into trees? And that's why they are now extinct drones. They all crashed! They were as stupid as human beings. And beginner drone operators. And so hotdogs were popularized in America? What happened to the Tasmanian Tigers? Were they that delicious? That we now have no more Tasmanian Tiger hotdogs? What the FUCK is going on here? I better get a drone soon. Before we all go extinct.. And then extraterrestrials will believe that we were all able to fly. And they will look at our petrified remains. And wonder where our wings were? They must've been connected on these long appendages on either side of their torso? And can you imagine the pictures their artists will come up with of what they think we looked like millions of years earlier? But they shall never find any feathers. Except maybe in a leather thing that was placed on top of one of their craniums? How could they fly that way? Did their heads spin quickly? Can you imagine? What the next advanced extraterrestrial civilization will think about us? And then they will find a MAVIC. And wonder what it did? And what it must have eaten? It eats these little square cubes. You stick into its ass. How does that work? What were these creatures really like? It looks like it has 2 eyes. But they have found no remains of those eyes. Inside those things. And wonder how they perceived the things in front of them? Because all they found, were the eyesockets. Hmmm What strange creatures. And they had hard plastic exoskeletons. Gray in color. And then there were these larger bipedal critters that had bones. Then they found Bones on some old TV programming about taking a Star Trek. But they could find no starships buried. And wondered where we went? Like the pre-dynastic Egyptians. Where the hell did they go? They had power tools for sure. They had advanced technology for sure. We have not found any of their drones left behind. In a sarcophagus. So what the FUCK? We still don't know how that was all built. Some 12,000+ years ago. Yet now we have drones.. We still don't how to build Egypt. They had electric lights and Baghdad batteries. There is no, soot. From burning torches. Inside those pyramids. Where it is otherwise, jet black. And I think they realized there was only so much oxygen inside? Because if you had a torch burning for quite some time. You might run out of oxygen? So they had to have electric light. They were way ahead of Edison. And Tesla. They figured it all out thousands of years ago. What they needed to have. To do the work they had envisioned. And you're kind of that way with your drone. You know how to get the shots the takes everybody's breath away. And is loaded with oxygen. I mean your videos get you breathing deeply. You take a big gulp of air in. With, oooo's and ahhhh's. Coming out. Even though I have been out for over 35 years, now. It's a different kind of, out like outing. Where we just had a, gay old time of it. If you follow? Or, lead. And whether you grab pussy's or not. I loved my kitties. They don't like drones as much as dogs do. Just so everybody knows. I have an everybody, nose. RemyRAD
