I just wanted to let you know that in public speaking, not using um or like makes a person appear more confident. It shows that you are ok with leaving a little bit of silence in your speaking. Notice that I said a little bit of silence. If you leave a lot of silence begins to make a person appear nervous or unprepared. So, the best advice I can give is speaking is a skill like any other, and I suggest practicing. For the astute, you might notice that, yes, I was asking for more videos...... :D I love watching these. Thank you for sharing. Btw, there is nothing wrong with using "like" as a simile, just when using it as a time filler.

in my opinion, the word "like" when used as a 'filler word' sort of context are a part of the language and what the speaker is trying to convey, similar to the tone of voice that its said in, and makes the conversation more casual which i actually think is more suitable for comentary videos on youtube obviously it's different for giving a formal presentation / speech it also makes certain words or ideas stand out when said after pausing or filler words

Having pauses is so important when you’re speaking. Some creators will edit out every partial second that they’re not speaking, and if it’s a live commentary, it just makes the video feel buggy and laggy, and it’s difficult to listen to. Having some natural pauses where you’re not constantly speaking is crucial to having a good video, at least in my opinion

As someone who’s taken debate classes, the coach would have practices where you have to talk about a random topic for as long as you could without using filler words. The practice really showed how talking slower with pauses instead of filler words can make you seem more confident in what you’re talking about even if it was gibberish 😅

3:30 yes dude, 100% I do that too, I say "like" and "um" a lot and to me, it might make me feel more personable, but overall, I think that it's generally better to attempt to remove those words from my vocabulary. Just overall. It's also something that I've been trying to work on though, I'm not a content creator, but just as a person, I think it will give the impression that you are more well-spoken or confident. I know some people who are like that definitely give off good vibes, and they seem like the type of people I'd want to be around.

I'm so confused by many of the tricks in this video (this is one of the first MC speedrunning videos I've seen), and I've got several questions. 1. Why are the Blaze not able to hit you at all? 2. Why did you purposefully die in the stronghold? 3. How do you know the distance you need to go from just the angle of the thrown ender eye?

here's a tip I don't know if it's actually useful or not but when your trading with the piglins you can dump all of your gold at once by holding control on your keyboard while pressing Q it'll make the entire stack of whatever you're holding drop instead of just one at a time. again tell me if this isn't useful I'm not a speedrunner so I don't know but in case it is.
