Depends where you originated from, America? My friend don't bother, I had a friend in QLD who was American, half the people assumed he was a racist, and the other half adored him. If you're from the UK, I have no idea, since all the ones I know live in Geelong where their accents never change because there is a weirdly large amount of British people here. Yeah I’m Aussie with pre much the same attitude. I was messing around with one of my mates in recess and i went to drop him as we do and I accidentally smacked him in the side of the face. Anyway we had a laugh about it and we were all g but the principal saw on the cameras wrote me up and called me to his office. He kept going on about it and telling me off about it in the end i fucking lost it. I yelled “it was just an accident fucking dickhead!” Then he said he will call my father down to talk to me who would back me up 100%. I said “oh yea? Fucking call him then!” Then he did and my father fucking lost it at the principal too. I got suspended for 3 days. My father took me home and was more proud of me than anything
