Tasha something I learned from years of living on my own is command hooks are your friend! I use one on my door for my towel, in my closet for purses, and in my kitchen for towels. They are expensive for what they are but worth every penny.

Where did you get your “poncho thing with a turtleneck?” It’s really cute! I can’t get over how adorable Nico is, and he’s such a beautiful dog. Before I got a desk, both of my dogs loved to lay on my bed because they could see out the window, but now that I have a desk and had to rearrange my room, my bed isn’t near a window. But you can see out of one on the wall across from my bed, and when one of my dogs realized he could see out the window he let out this funny little “woof.”

Congrats on the apartment it looks so cute! Praying for your mom and for there to be healing there. I can only imagine all that you and Alex are going through. Thanks for being so vulnerable and real!!! We need more people in the church to talk about their struggles. I go to church in Irvine at Free Chapel OC. So I'm local as well! And yes! A link to the belt would be awesome! ❤❤❤ and by the way! I highly recommend Dave Ramsey's financial peace! It helped me and my hubby get on track! You don't need to purchase anything though. I would just find his budgeting sheets online for free and watch some youtube videos on it. I don't do everything he suggests, like we use a debit card and hardly ever use cash. So you can do it however it works for you! But it's been amazing and has given me a lot of peace with our finances and I NEVER worry about paying our bills since we already budget for them every time we get paid.

If the moving boxes are still in good condition you can offer them for free on Craigslist. Someone in your apartment complex might also be moving. Helps the environment to try to reuse before recycling.

When you both go to work, is the house quiet? If so, try leaving on the radio or TV. Maybe if Nico hears people talking maybe he'll stay calm. I use the radio in the car for my cats and dogs when I take them to the vet. They always seem calmer than if I have the radio off.

My moms dog was exactly like that when she moved. Try leaving a tv or radio on when you go out, so there’s human voices. Or a pet store may be able to suggest something better.

My dog has separation anxiety, shes my support dog. I leave the radio on for her when I'm gone, make sure she has something to chew on and something to snack on (a treat filled toy) so she has something to work on, human voices, and is more relaxed. I also use pet friendly essential oils in the diffuser ♡

Katherine Allen it’s crazy because my mom has a lab and a yorkie and the lab has separation anxiety. We’ve have so many trainers come in to try and help, even with the second dog she’s still quite bad, howling and pining after my mom even when there’s people there as well. We have defusers and toys etc poor puppers
