Does the guide in the first link only applies to the source version or does it also apply to the downloaded version (or atleast if most of it can be used for this version).

@@emmanuelfilipe6185 Well, it can be both but source is mainly people who is experienced in working with Haxe. Lua is a softcoding language in Psych Engine for the people who are new to programming since it's easy to understand syntax and keywords. If you're looking to work with source code, then I'd recommend looking at haxe.org/documentation/introduction/ and this for HaxeFlixel's API: api.haxeflixel.com/

Is there a chance you meant Notepad? If so, yes. You can write Lua code in Notepad. But I also recommend other IDEs like: VS Code: code.visualstudio.com/ (Recommended) Sublime Text: www.sublimetext.com/ Recommended Extensions for VS Code: usernamehw.errorlens, keyring.Lua and Snirozu.funkin-script-autocompleter
