Getting Started: Pipe Erosion using DPM and UDF in Ansys Fluent

Basic introductory Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation tutorial using Ansys
1. Creating a simple pipe geometry in SpaceClaim and named selections
2. Adding face size mesh control and inflation layer
3. Modelling air and sand particles via Discrete Phase Model (DPM) with surface injection
4. Using a User-defined Function (.c file created in Microsoft Visual Studio 2017) for calculating the pipe wall erosion rate (DNV)

Loss of metal through erosion is DEPENDENT on the type of steel. How is the type of pipe material taken into account in this simulation?how is the choice of the metal material of the pipe set?
