If I have a sql server database and I want to connect to it in Metabase and create a dashboard, and I want the dashboard to be live (the visuals refresh automatically when new data comes in the database), similar to Direct Query in Power BI, is that possible in Metabase?

@@pranavdherange7238 Nah, I don't think it's possible unless you go for the cloud version, which is kinda pricey. Instead, I use Streamlit. It's a Python framework for making web-apps (works for dashboards too) and can be hosted for free and shared with everyone easily.

Hi, This video is awesome. I am using snowflake plus Metabase at work. But for learning purpose on my personal laptop I would like to connect Metabase with a local database server like SQL Server or Postgres. Can you create a small video on how to setup connection between Metabase and (SQL Server or Postgres or MySQL).
