Edgar, Well done, been searching for how to record using Ableton, only hard to find anything except pretty much full training on Ableton and you came up in KZbin using a Scarlett Solo (4th Gen") Regards.

Have you had any issues with the audio just randomly cutting out ?

No I haven’t, could be bad cables.

Can you select output device as something else? like my headphones plugged into desktop audio jack?

Yes you can! In Ableton you can specify input and output separately to any available option

Looked into it and apparently you can’t, has to go through interface

Did you register your interface on their site? You get software access after that.

How many inputs does this have?

The Solo has 2, one 1/4” jack for instruments and one XLR for a microphone
