I have the Elgato Green Screen MT mountable version that suddenly developed a large crease during a stalled retraction. After contacting Elgato support asking for potential instructions on removing the crease they voluntarily offered to send new replacement. They are requiring me to write the RMA number across middle of front screen with Sharpie and provide a picture as proof before moving forward. Guess I am stuck trusting they will come through.

Thank you so much for doing this Serena. I'm so grateful. It is very much appreciated by your colleagues throughout the world. I'm a British therapist practising in the UK. Even though our schools are scheduled to go back in September many of them are saying that they will not allow visitors in. Since we are not normally based within the schools but visit from place to place this is problematic for us. Finding new ways to provide therapy is a must right now. So, using this is an amazing tool to help us provide services during this global pandemic. I have a question though. I noticed that the food items you posted during your how to use the pocket demonstration appeared to be printed on felt? Other than drawing items on felt yourself, is there another way to create these visuals for posting?

Hi Alison! Yes, there is a way! On my website (playsparktoys.com), I have all of these food items available as printables from your own computer as well as the felt sets. The printables do not need to be on felt. They can be printed as used just as well on paper with tape. I hope that helps!

I recommend purchasing a ring light! They are game changers. Many are on amazon with USB connection and under 30 dollars. That, or having as many artificial lights in the room as possible!

Hello! How do you do this on Microsoft Teams? This applies for Zoom and Google Meets, but when trying to interact with the green screen as you do on MS teams, it seems that the felt items disappear into the background... so this does not seem to apply for MS teams.

So I have another question- trying to do the green screen using Google Meet/Zoom...if I'm changing backgrounds, and I'm sharing my screen, it looks like my students will see the window with all the background options? It's just easier to keep that open, right? So how do you keep them from seeing all the backgrounds and how do you also prevent them from seeing your google meets name icon (when you turn off your camera they see for example my "N" in a circle)? Hello, I would like to know how I can show my powerpoint slides in the back ground with me in the forefront. You have to have a computer with the right specs and the updated of version of Zoom to do so. I do not have those things, so I do not use that feature. You can join the facebook group Green Screen Speech Therapy (Distance Learning) to see the many tutorials others have shared!

How do you keep wrinkles from forming on your green screen? Do you ever iron it, if it can be ironed? I'm always concerned wrinkles will mess up my screen and ruin the key.

I am using a felt screen, so much less room for wrinkles. I have not had any problem with ruining the key. I haven't had to iron it.

I am fairly sure that felt fabric would stick to flannel. I have not tried it myself but I imagine it would stick in the same way that felt sticks to felt.
