Hi , Is it possible to run metricbeat without root access?. I tried , but getting access denied error error : ksh: ./metricbeat: 0403-006 Execute permission denied.

Hi Rohit. If the problem you're having is related to configuration file permissions, you can disable these checks using `strict.perms=false`. Certain modules/metricsets however, requires special root permissions because they need to access kernel params. But so if even disabling the check permissions you continue to have this problem - make sure to verify which modules you're using and what permissions they require.
