Another great Micro Bit project. Thanks for sharing this video and information. I’ve been interested in learning about servos and the temperature sensor. Appreciate the detailed information to help me meet my goals.

Listen bro I just started learning about these microbits in school and I copied it step by step and it worked!

I am really impressed by sparkfun's approach to latest technology. Do Sparkfun offer internships?

can we get the recorded data without connecting microbit to the PC with USB cable?

Is it a micro servo motor? What is the current drawn by the motor? Hope it will not damage microbit when connected directly. What is the current rating of microbit?
@d_sanu9 ай бұрын
Current rating: V1:- 90 milli amps (V1 is the version of the microbit used here)

What is the type of the servo?

what wire gauge and length is suggested?

Sadly, I could not get the stall current rating on the servo (www.sparkfun.com/products/9065), so I'm not sure on the smallest wire gauge you should use. In the video, I used 22 AWG solid core wire (www.sparkfun.com/products/8026), which seems to work well for sticking in the servo's connector. Anything over 4 inches should be plenty of length to make the connection (up to a few feet, as that'll probably get unwieldy).

22 AWG seems to be the average for breadboard play, so that's probably the correct one.

why not stereotype all of us engineers by wearing a white coat and a ridiculous bow tie? :-/
@ShawnHymel6 жыл бұрын
Because no engineer that I know of actually wears a lab coat and bow tie (at least on a regular basis)? :P

Because america is full of stereotypes lmao. Can't fight it.
