Excellent tutorial, as always. Thank you! I'd like to see a feature for splitting the multicam clip into separate tracks when I'm done. I can then, for example extend a clip over another and resize for PIP effect.

Thank you for this considered feedback. I've added your comment to the developers' log so that they can consider it for implementation in an upcoming release. Happy to have you along on the ride, and happy editing!

How long until this feature is on the android app? I've got a S8 ultra Tablet so I'm pretty sure it can manage it.

Hi Ashley, The hardware is certainly capable, but we are waiting for new Audio/Video foundations to be available in the OS from Google in order to be able to handle the type of playback, syncing and switching that the Multicam feature requires.

Are you able to reset all your switching?
@LumaTouchАй бұрын
Hey there, thanks for watching. At present there is not one-click reset. But resetting manually is pretty easy--for each angle, tap on the most 'downstream' clip. A white arrow will appear. You can then drag this arrow to the left, in steps--as each switched angle turns back to the selected angle you'll stop, then start again. It takes a few seconds. If that doesn't help, please get ahold of our Support team, who can get you a bit more 1:1 detail on the process. lumatouch.co/support (tap 'email Support'). Happy editing!

I have a Lumafusion android version, but no one like this
@LumaTouchАй бұрын
This feature is not currently available in the Android version, unfortunately. Owing to the complexity of the feature and the huge variety of device capabilities in the Android world, it might be a while before we are able to implement it. Thanks for your patience, and thanks for using LumaFusion.

Of course us android editors are left behind and android users make up the largest market share in the mobile device market. We are still waiting for the advanced keyframing and speed ramping to come to android. The updates sre simply taking too long.
@JU6T3RАй бұрын
Hope so
@LumaTouchАй бұрын
Haha, yes, we would love to get these updates to you a bit faster too. But we are a small team of passionate creators, not an organ of some huge corporation with limitless resources. Our Android team is in final testing on the Speed Ramping & Enhanced Keyframing feature, which we expect will drop pretty soon. Thank you for your patience, while we continue to evolve and refine what we believe is the best video editor available for Android.

Soon.

@@LumaTouch I made the comment because I would love Multicam for android...I totally get that the hardware and software need to work well together for Multicam to work but surely with most android brands or manufacturers using Snapdragon processors there has to be some commonality across the range that the code can be written to make it work? I just don't like the fact that because I've chosen to go android with my device choice I can't get the same experience as an apple user. It's not a level playing field for the consumer.

Nor for the developer. It's a misconception to believe that we are slighting our Android users. The Android version of our app has been in development for approximately 8 fewer years than its iOS counterpart, so it's naturally less mature. Lots of what LumaFusion for iOS can do is based on the capabilities of Apple's AVFoundation (the hardware/software engine that powers how we can process video), and some of this capability is just not present in the Android world. We are working with Google, and inventing solutions out of whole cloth in order to get closer to feature parity, but this all takes time. We are grateful for your patience while we continue to evolve and refine what we humbly believe is already the best video editor available for Android. Our goal is to help you tell stories better. Happy editing!
