Thanks for the video. Nice explanation. The deployment worked. But I did not see the AVI SE Vms and the control plane IP was the front end network, which was not accessible. Wondering if you had any thoughts about why this would be.

Hi, I am new to Kubernetes (VMware Tanzu) and your video is very useful. Thanks. You are deploying a simple application at the end with just one port load balanced. Do you know if it is possible to load balance TCP and UDP traffic on the same LB-VIP-IP with NSX ALB? It's hard to find good information about vSphere with Tanzu (including NSX ALB). When you host k8s via TKG(s) (standalone) you can work with AKO, but it seems not to co-operate with vSphere with Tanzu. Just trying to run Adguardhome (or Pi-hole) in my home lab, but you need to load balance port 53 (DNS) on TCP and UDP... Cannot get it to work.

Hi, I would like to know if the Tanzu edition you installed is the VMware Tanzu Standard edition and if not how to install the standard edition? Thanks.

In the video I install vSphere with Tanzu. Tanzu Standard is the license, which includes the Tanzu part shown in the video. On top of that the license includes Tanzu Mission Control (TMC), not shown in the video. Hope that helps

Can I use the .local domain? If so, where should I put the value in? I got an error said that the .local hostname could not be resolved.

Depending what is using the .local domain. You need to put it into the search domain field. Have a look here kb.vmware.com/s/article/83387
