is it possible to connect my asterabox art7 via dmx cable to my computer using lightkey software to make lightshows via computer? does anybody have some recommendations / experience using astera lights on this way? cheers markus

We can accept DMX from any source. You will have to talk to Lightkey about the process for using their software to output DMX.

How many AX-1 is possible to control with one AsteraBox and App?

There are in theory no limit to how many lights you can pair to the App, this applies to all Astera lights. However the more lights you pair to the App the slower the refresh rate gets on the "List of connected lights". So in the list where you see the lights, it can take some time for all lights to show up. It does not affect the lights when running a program or changing colors. I have tried myself to have 230 lights connected to the App, the refresh rate was rather slow. How many lights do you want to pair with the App? / BR Jesper

In the main menu is a tap called "App settings", there you can find "Backup & Restore" which allows you to see backups and restore them. you can also watch this tutorial: Chapter 21 kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJ_QZYZvmL2CgKM . Let me know if that helps

hi guys, I was looking for so long but couldnt find any help nowhere. So Hope you guys can help. My Astera bluethooth receiver ART7U is not working at all. When Its connected to its charger its only lighting up all little lights on the controle side. Light intensity is quiet low.. either pushing ON butto ist doing noting.. Hope you guys can give me any advice what to do.

Recently found 1 issue ..wanna share with you guys If your doing your work from asteraapp The asterabox not proper signal strength But if we use same asterabox for input crmx its showing a good signal strength Please let us know what is the issue. Please resolve ASAP I have a picture also where I can send that .. give me the proper detail

Hi Rohan, the reason is that the "App control" part is a different system than the CRMX. Its two independent systems that happen to live in the same box. You still have RF when using the App control so you will also have a long range of controlling your lights, its just not showing the signal strength as when using CRMX.

Thanks for your valuable time & ans.. If only APP CONTROL is running asterabox not showing the proper signal strength.. Previously it was working nicely .. but from one week we got this issue .. On one set i have changed 3 asterabox for only APP CONTROL . BUT ALL ASTERABOXES SHOWED ME A VERY LESS SIGNAL STRENGTH WHAT WILL BE THE REASON BEHIND THIS ?

One thing to check is if you have the latest firmware on the AsteraBox, when connected you will see the current firmware in the pairing menu. if you don't have 5.11.25 (latest firmware) then update your AsteraBox and let me know how that works out

Hi and sorry for the late reply, In the target section where you create groups, to delete a group: 1) Select the group you want to remove. 2) Tap the pencil icon in the top right corner. 3) Choose "Remove this tile". The group will then be deleted.

Hi Eriol, sorry to hear that. What Astera lights do you have? make sure your AsteraApp is up to date, and paired with the AsteraBox. Change the RadioPin from deafult "0000" to something else. Also make sure that you use the right RF region - you can find it here -> Main manu (three lines top right corner) - > App settings -> RF Region -> set it to your region.... Once you set / change it to your region you need to do the pairing process again. Please let me know how it goes, // Jesper
