Finally a video...after searching youtube on how to get started. When I did get set up, I realized I dont have all my files. Years and years of files. Why are they not all showing. I have the required computer.

We are launching the Cameo Pro MKII on November 14. This will have all the same updated technology as the Cameo 5 such as second powered carriage, it's quieter, and the emergency stop function. It will also have 5 removable support rollers to help hold down large projects but made them removable to do projects as small as 5in.

What does it mean Silhouette 5 can cut between 5-12 inches wide? We all know our previous models can cut the smallest of shapes!!!!! I don’t understand

The width of the material not the size of shape I believe is what they mean. You have the mat for little things anything fed has to get grabbed by the feed roller.

IKR... I don't own any silhouette machines. It sounds like they are trying to be creative with words at this point. If it only cuts at widths 5" - 12", does that mean we are screwed if we need to cut something 4.99" and smaller?😅 😆 🤣 that would be weird. My Starcraft Solo cuts any size up to 16" wide, no minimum length, no membership requirements, various software options, I can use with or without a mat, similar functions as Graphtec, GCC, Roland, and other professional plotter. Silhouette is a close 2nd. They all use speed, pressure, etc. Silhouette is an okay company for easy home machines but I'm not a fan of any company that pushes machine upgrades every year making you buy yet another machine then you wind up with several separate machines when 1 machine should work. I am not at all a fan of Cricut machines for that reason. The exception is the Cricut joy for portability but not total functionality. If I could find a portable option for a machine that is not constricted to using 1 software program, I would buy it. The Silhouette portrait is okay but at the time it was too high a price so I bought the cricut joy. I shall see what the future holds. 😏

@JoyfulStitching is correct. The machines can cut shapes smaller than 5 inches, but the material that it is cutting should be 5-12 inches so that the pinch rollers can properly grip the material.
