thx for the info, my homie & i bought one of these machines to print on shirts &...,we are already beyond confused, but you helped! (folks in the comments: some of y’all are being weenies. giving feedback/suggestions can look a lot nicer/respectful & also, you are on the damn web, an actual, entire, endless ocean of free and accessible sources that are just waiting around in cyberspace to help each of you learn how to navigate the confusing world of Cricut, just like go elsewhere)

hello! Thank you so much for all the info!. Question- were you able to find out if you could use any shirts etc for the infusible ink?
@paigejoannaa4 жыл бұрын
Hey, anything with a high polyester content so not cotton T-shirt but the Cricut ones are designed to be best for this and then anything you find with polyester/elastine mix should be fine xxx

So I did my first try of Infusible Ink and I had a hard time weeding the ink, tried again with more pressure and still same thing. It looks like it's not cutting through all the way. Can anybody help me? :(
@destenieg.25453 жыл бұрын
You’re supposed to peel the Matt off the entire sheet. Then split the infusible ink sheet from the clear backing. You’ll remove everything except your design from the clear backing. It should make a pop/cracking noise. Another tip is you should set your cut to less pressure as you’re not supposed to cut through the clear backing.

Can you use infusible ink pens and paper with Explore Air 2?
@paigejoannaa5 жыл бұрын
@@kristinagodwin8530 Hey guys, yes you can, just select custom on the machine and then choose the material on the design space. You will require the heat-press 2 though as it gets to a hotter temperature than the 1.
@paigejoannaa5 жыл бұрын
Found this quote on the FAQ on the Cricut website for you: Which Cricut machines work with this system? Infusible Ink is compatible with all Cricut Maker and Cricut Explore family machines, as well as Cricut EasyPress 2 and Cricut EasyPress.

@@paigejoannaa - Thank you for replying/responding to my question. I just bought myself a Cricut Maker for Christmas. I haven't used it yet as I've been trying to understand how to use the Design Space software. I have to say that so far I think it is dreadful compared with ScanNCut Canvas. I'm on the verge of wanting to return the Cricut as so far, it doesn't seem to me to be as good as my Brother ScanNCut. Could I ask if you have to use additional design software to be able to create your own designs. I cannot find a draw function on the Cricut Design Space, nor are there as many options, trace, crop, extract and other basic functions available with Brother's free software (Canvas Workspace)
@paigejoannaa5 жыл бұрын
ArtEBee I think why you can do is draw on your usual software and upload those png or Jpeg files to the design space and cut/draw them that way. X

Stop being mean to someone who is trying to help people like you. At least she has taken the time out of her maybe busy schedule. Tip be kind to people helping you and mainly if they helping you. I caught most what she did as she done it, only thing I didn’t catch was the T-shirt of that is normal t-shirt or what, but I will find out without being nasty 🙄
