Thank you for this plugin. I understand how to create the events and setup the user interface. However, your video does not explain how my audience actually can reach these pages. Do I have to create my own Page or Post to embed the permalink into? i don't see how to access the "Events List" from outside the plugin. I would like to add a menu Button for my "Events", but the plugin seems to override the "/events" slug. I would greatly appreciate your feedback. Thank you.

Unfortunately, I can only assume this is planned so you will have to purchase the Pro version of the plugin. Like the exclusion of the use of shortcodes in the free version.

I used your plugin for a couple of months but as the menus were complicated for me I migrated to Modern Events Calendar. I like it more, however yours was brilliant too. It was a matter of taste only.

I don't know how anyone else figured out where the EVENTS menu item came from but I found it in APPEARANCE | ADD MENU ITEMS | EVENTS. I was looking in pages or creating my own page and looking for the shortcode to add to the page. I watched two videos and no one is explaining that.

Strangely, shortcodes are excluded in the free version.

When we go to add a new event, we're not seeing The Events Calendar section below. We bought/used the plug-in before, and it worked fine, but then we cancelled for whatever reason. Now that we have it again, it's not showing the bottom half, as mentioned. We tried deactivating/re-activating; delete and re-install but with no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks

when I made a test event and viewed it from another browser (so I was not signed in) - I could see a button at the bottom right of the listing called "Add Calendar". Clicking on that opens up a listing of "google calendar, io something, outlook, and like 5 other things". I can't see that button in elementor and I don't see it in settings or anything in the "events" sections on the WP control panel. IS THERE ANY WAY TO DELETE THAT?

I got the events plugin added to my website - quite by mistake. I could not find any way to actually get it on. One video said to make a page and then drag the widget from the events group of stuff by clicking events at the top. in other words , that would open a panel on the left and you could drag the events square onto your page. You had to make a page first. So I made a page called "Events", but it just automatically became the events page - I did not need to drag anything. Ok - no problem. Please update the video to explain how to add the "calendar" to a page. And also if using Divi, provide a link to your Divi extension. To all those frustrated users (maybe it is only me) - all you need to do add a calendar to a page is to add the slug (without quotes) "events" to a page using quick edit.

​@@maryamali2981 What I did with the free version was adding it to my menu: 1. Change the URL Slug (find it in Events>Settings>View) 2. Go to appearance > Menu > Custom Links 3. Paste the new URL for your calendar > Name it Calendar > Add to menu I wanted a separate page for my calendar, but with the free version you unfortunately can't use the shortcode to add it to a page, so I did it like this, hope it helps..

This is an usual question. Can you create an event set in the past? (Date is passed). In case you need to show previous events for archive purposes. Situation : the client changed its calendar system and plugin but we need to show previous events as Legacy.

Maybe using custom CSS? I use Google Developer Tools to inspect items all the time to identify ids or classes so I can modify them with custom CSS. Usually works for me.
