Can a microcontroller be read with this tool?

I am using MSP430G2553. When debugging I get the error: MSP430: Can't Initialize Target CPU: **Error**: Serial Communication failed at port: COM65, baud rate:9600! I changed the UART Port settings in Device Manager, but also I noticed that my txt file is not exactly the same as the one used in the video. I have CCS V6. Ay suggestions? Thank you

Try removing CCS v6 and install v5. If that doesn't solve the problem, try using the board with another computer
