Getting started with VNC Connect secure remote access screen sharing software 2023

In this video, we’ll show you how quick and easy it is to get your first screen sharing session up and running using RealVNC’s VNC Connect remote access software.
First, we’ll show you how to choose a subscription, create a RealVNC account, and set up 2-factor authentication to secure your account.
Then, to keep things simple, we’ll show you how to provide unattended access to your own Windows, Mac or Linux computer using VNC Connect’s device access capability. You’ll install VNC Connect - consisting of an app called VNC Server, plus supporting programs - on the remote computer you want to control, and sign in using your RealVNC account credentials to license it.
Then you’ll grab a second device - the desktop computer or mobile device you want to control from - and download our free VNC Viewer app from our website or a commercial App Store. Sign in using the same RealVNC account credentials, and the remote computer will automatically appear. When you click to connect, you’ll need to authenticate again; this time, enter the Active Directory or equivalent system credentials you normally use to log in to your desktop on the remote computer. Having two separate authentication systems helps keep remote access secure.
Now you can control your computer from anywhere in the world, at any time. If you’re taking a free trial, all you'll need to keep your remote access at the end is sign in to your RealVNC account online and click the Subscribe to VNC Connect button on the Billing page. There’s no need to set up a new RealVNC account in order to purchase VNC Connect at the end of your trial.
