I’m proud you for remaining calm the way you did! I think many get a little too scared when stuck in elevators. I personally don’t think there’s too much to worry about when stuck in one, since you should be helped out in good time unless you’re stuck in one when a fire suddenly happens or on a ship that’s sinking.

just a warning when ever u r in a lift and ur door opens back when u shut it come out immediately bc i got caught and i didnt listen to sign im only 10 and i waas stuck then i came out but rememebr the signal that ur abt to get stuck even tho i pressed the bell no one heard including the intercom

Eh I've seen these door types most commonly at transit centers.

It’s most a two speed door which is common. Most hospitals use this type of door too.

It’s a train but yes this route is the raritan valley line which starts in high bridge and ends in New York. This station is Westfield in nj

Basically the elevator stopped at the ground floor but the doors didn’t open. Stayed for about 10 seconds then continued, so it technically got stuck
