Real mom life struggles... I started this video this morning while folding laundry and started the next load per your advise and thought, “Great! I’ll have all my laundry finally caught up this morning.” Have attempted to watch this whole video all day in little spurts of free time and apparently it takes the whoooole day to watch 35 mins because I’m just finishing this video as I nurse my youngest to sleep and realize my load of laundry from this morning is still in the wash 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ such is life! 😂😂 thanks for the reminder!

Just got rid of a bunch of my shoes when I was moving some closet items to another closet. I have not worn those shoes for probably 20 years! Why I was hanging on to them I'll never know. I just bagged them up and gave them to GoodWill. And today, had a bunch of new Christmas decor on the spare bed and on the floor in bags. I started dividing the items in clear open bins and put them on the floor...this way when I start decorating, I'll just bring those bins out. Now it looks so much cleaner in that room...the bed is clear and that makes the whole room look so much nicer. Then of course once you vacuum, you think why hadn't you done that earlier.

The shoe organisation was sooo satisfying to watch! 112 pairs??? crazy:)) My top of the fridge used to be like that and then I got two cute storage boxes and throw everything in them:)) yes it's still messy nut you can only see the boxes so from outside it looks sooo clean and organised:)) I almost feel like some of these youtubers have 2 separate houses, one that they film in where everything is perfectly neat and clean and another where they actually live in:)) I can't keep my house tidy and clean not even for 30 minutes:))

I want to leave a heartfelt suggestion: donate to women's shelters and children's shelters. I have worked at both types of facilities and the needs are met by donations and United Way. A lot of emergency clothing does not need to be new or in perfect condition (of course not trash) but something to wear for the time being. A lot of baby items are needed and toys to keep the little ones busy. This is not to guilt or shame anyone, just education for our communities and lovely people who also have big hearts. Thank you for your uplifting videos! You make decluttering fun!

Ok Kim, little tip for shoe organization, I always saved every shoes, mostly because I started working at Gymboree just for the discount! Good intentions, failed, I just bought everything, my boys had shoes to match every outfit! They were good shoes, we got them at good will, they got stride rite by the trunkful, and they matched Gymboree clothes to a T! ( I thought it was Amazing) but as my husband mentioned that Gymboree boys clothes were primary colors, and so were Stride Rite shoes! A fact that escaped me at the time, but enough about me, ( well for this comment anyway, I’ll get back to me soon I’m sure!) oh ok shoes, you dump them on the floor ( you excelled in that part) and then you call the kids in, and just like an Easter Egg hunt crossed with the memory game, let them see who can match the most! Fun for all, you hydrate while they do the work! Then comes the lesson on donating! You know there are children that don’t have shoes, yaddah, , yaddah, yaddah! Yes you can keep some for Merideth ( need clarification on spelling) oh yes! I can’t believe I forgot! My husband and I were watching you, well I was watching he was trying to vacuum, when I looked up, and like an angel with a halo 👼 and all, you grabbed your vacuum, and as my husband was grunting about the vacuum you then, like an angel again with the halo and all 😇, you taught us probably something that we never would have figured it out, cause although we save all instructions for everything we buy, we never read them! Who does? Well Kim you angel did, and showed us the reason. We can only vacuum for 10 feet, it was the button, the button that says something, it said and then you said, and we listened, and you taught us about the button that tells us about you could have 10 minutes of deep clean, or you can actually just vacuum your house!! Oh and we have no idea where to keep said vacuum! So we are waiting to hear where you decided to keep it, so we can get on with our life! Right now it is in my dining room! Did I already say that, I don’t know, and I’m not reading this to find out, this way to long for that! So ok well thanks for the chat, I’m here if ya need me! Oh and I would love to hire Merideth ( again spelling) just to hang out with me cause she is so fricken cute! Ok well I think I will write you a poem, I’ll get back to ya about that! You encouraged me to get stuff done that has been on my to-do list for 4 days 😬 I cleaned both bathrooms upstairs, vacuumed the entire 2nd floor and stairs, and threw all the bedding in the wash. (Also threw cloth diapers in wash, it hasn't been 4 days on that, just 2, I feel like I needed to clarify that 😂) , but also cleaned all the rooms upstairs and put away the laundry that has been folded in the laundry baskets since Saturday. Oh my goodness!!!! I’m so jealous!!!!! My 6 year old is doing virtual school at least until next year when he goes into 2nd grade. I bought a huge ikea desk for him and I to share and we have just about everything we need EXCEPT those paper sorting trays that you have on top of your fridge. I can not find them anywhere and I can’t order anything online at the moment. Do you remember where you got yours? I’ve looked in all the obvious stores like Walmart target Office Depot and staples even check dollar tree and dollar general and family dollar.. I’m telling you I’ve been to so Many places multiple times trying to find a set of them.

Children shoe organization is basically "Memory" for adults!! KIM!!! Just string some fishing twine between those 2 hooks on the back of the frame and then only use one tack! 😉

Take a strip of painters tape and put it on the back of your picture frame where the hangers are for your frame and poke a hole where they are. Then take the tape off and put it up on your wall and you will have an easy way to be able to mark the wall where you need the nails or thumb tacks. 😀

I just went through my families shoes last week!! There is only 4 of us but what a nightmare hahahaha. I put my kids lunchkits on top of our fridge!! It's my art cupboard that is a nightmare, I've procrastinated that for 2 weeks!! Over 2020 I have almost emptied and re organized my entire house and did a huge toy purge...they gather sooo quickly.

Hey 🙏, working on to get 100% "handmade" absolutely "high quality bowls fair trade from Nepal" for future soundscape / music videos. Found some which are chosen by myself and singing bowl therapists in Nepal, chosen individual with love and harmony based on each chakra 😇 The sound of these bowls which I found is pleasantly soft and warm with long-lasting vibrations. As some of you guys know sometimes I record also my own music in studio of a friend who lives in my area, will make recordings there then. Will maybe take some time, but will come 👌. Oh my...as a mom of five girls I totally understand the shoe crazy. Our girls are 3, 5, 7, 8 & 9 so they are pretty much stair steps. At this point for the oldest that I buy brand new shoes for we stick with the following catergories and have one pair of each type: play snow boots, play mud boots, nice fall/winter boots, play hiking boots/shoes, play tennis shoes, nice sandals, crocs, flip flops, water shoes. Now...that is our bare minimum. That is still a ridiculous amount of shoes especially when you multiply by five girls🤣
