My favorite DS3 build used the Pontiff Rings with the Old Wolf CGS and the Frayed Blade weapon art. You could proc the damage buff with one or two uses of it, plus the bleed build up was noticeable, too!

You can use the special heavy without fp. All it does is take away the extra dark damage. It keeps the bleeding and original attack Personally I use the light special until I run out of fp then I use the heavy special. Also leveling luck increases bleed
