Good going men , it good to steiger 325 pta going to in new home , with the other steigers tractors , thay look great all together . The property I worked on when I was younger , had 7 steiger 325 . 6 series 3 . And 1 series 4 . All with CAT 3406 . Love to see the steiger come back life . Those will look good when all fixed up and painted .

The pta325 is an awesome tractor. We have had ours for about 20 years now. Swapped the 3406a with a 3306b and put a new transmission in 2023 so it should last another 20 years😂

I can't wait to pull something! We haven't even test driven the two Steiger's much.. Will have to after we do a fluid change. Also we don't even have anything big enough for these old girls to feel lol.

Yea the head is yellow as well as the fuel pump so the motor has been gone through at one point. The ST on the other hand 😬😬 idk....

PTA! PTA! what's the difference between the PTA and the cougar? How's the year difference? Is one newer than the other?

The Cougar is a PT model. The difference between a PT and PTA is the different transmission and the steps on the PTA are a little different. Other than that they are more or less the same. Obviously different power train, comparing a Cougar to a Panther. As for the age difference yes. The Bearcat III is a 1978 model while the Cougar is a 1980. The PTA is a 1981 and the ST is a 1982. The last three are only separated by 1 year! 😄

@@ronaldfeuerstein435 The PT series Bearcats had usually 225 hp with the 3306 Cat. Cougars had mostly 3306 Cats but sometimes had 3406 or 855 Cummins as well. The hp on Cougar was 270 or 280. The Panthers PT and PTA came in many hp ratings of 310, 325, 350 with 310 having 855 Cummins 325 having Cat 3406 and 350 having the 903 Cummins. Different axle combinations geared them slightly differently. The PT series in the Steiger’s was their model with the PTO. Our Cougar has the PTO pump but the actual PTO was removed by the previous owner.

I tried to hang as long as possible. I won't tolerate a swinging camera. Perhaps kids are used to never paying attention to their environment, but for those of us that do... Every time I try to focus on anything... you fucking whip that camera in another ADD direction. Best of luck with your machines. I have no doubt you will get them to what ever state you want them to be in.

I am sorry about that. My camera lens did not have good stabilization nor did it have the best focusing ability. I have since then got a much better lens which should make it less jerky and better in general. I will try to improve my camerawork.
