Getting the TWIN SUPERCHARGED Pontiac Sunbird ready for MASSIVE BURNOUTS at Cleetus & Cars Indy

The Twin Supercharged Pontiac made its way back down to the shop for some fuel system upgrades this week. Prepping for the Cleetus & Cars Indy burnout competition. Last year we thrashed this thing together and made our way down to the show, unfortunately the fuel system could not keep up and the bird only did about a 15 second burnout. In this episode the entire fuel system gets upgraded to 8AN fittings and line, new fuel pump, regulator, fuel rail and tank. Also added racing bucket seats and harnesses to keep myself in the seat where i belong. A 6AL2 Programmable MSD box was also added so timing can be dealt with properly as well as set a rev limiter. All was going well , until the new fuel pump quit pumping..... better here than in Indy... got a new one on the way, hopefully it resolves the issue!

This is the best show on KZbin. I love the raw footage of you fabricating, and your old school handmade approach to building. Too many other guys stared shows like this and sold out for subscribers and money, slowly working new products supplied by sponsors into there videos. I apologize for not being familiar with this build. It's straight out of Mad Max! EDIT: Puddin's Fab Shop just had what he thought were dead pumps and it was lack of battery power if I'm not mistaken.

I could see that on electric, bad ground or poor connection, this one however is mechanical, the engine runs it off the cam, I pulled it and sure enough it was broke... All fixed now!

I actually never went to the thresherie ( tractor show). A couple weeks after that show they have the symco weekender, the old school hot rod show.... I made a video on it a couple years ago, walked through all the buildings and stuff. The venue itself is amazing there with all the old buildings and machinery. 👍
