As the OG Digitakt has been the center of my live set up for years now , I must say that Everything about the Digitakt 2 is is So Dope and really improves on something that was already the best, especially with the continual firmware updates. So many new features that make it much more of a spontaneous instrument but also deeper than ever before. Will I sell my original &/or buy the new one though? Hard to justify right now, but if I was gigging and on a label that supported my efforts, I would.

I want the ability to modulate samples with other samples. Like, I'm fine with traditional FM, but you can get some CRAZY sounds from old kurzweil keyboards and Yamaha keyboards by FM'ing things together in nasty ways. I want to see that ability hit DT2.

Hi there, thanks for the insight. As of minute 1:18, what settings make the record button go yellow, and the trig yellow in a red square? I am a digitakt newbee, so not sure what this setting is

Just use a MIDI track and plock some parameters. You can also do it on DT1 😉

always the same from all elektron boxes all over yt, i never heard good music coming out and sounds are sooo ugly....not so compared with established syth maufacturers. Never heard a bad sound on Juno. Why is that? The crowd on the dancefloor will be exited out of these elektron sounds...This is exactly what they are looking for?

This is a sampler, so it sounds like whatever samples you load it up with or sample into it. So you could fill it up with Juno samples or whatever sounds float your boat,. And what sounds good is subjective.
