He's humble to a fault. I honestly hate that expression, being "humble to a fault", but he really is; and I mean it in the most positive way. Lee Evans is probably the most grounded comedian to ever have existed. The working man's comedian, yet ironically (and arguably) the best comedian to have ever been produced from the UK. To have married his childhood sweetheart and stuck to that marriage for almost 40 years also speaks volumes.

Lee makes me laugh at the shared absurdities of our lives. He is so observational that we all instantly get his point. It takes a lot of work and I so appreciate him for that.
