Dr Brown. Most of the people who claim that the gifts have ceased site 1 Corr 13:8-10. When the perfect has come. You and I understand this to mean the second coming. They say the completed Bible. And only the KJV. However, I have to wonder if since Jesus is called "the Word" in John 1: 1, wouldn't that refute their claim? Seeing as how Jesus was here before Paul wrote 1 corrinthians. Also when it is written "have we not prophesied in Your name and done many mighty works and done mighty works in your name" in the last days, the "last days" is now. Am i looking at this correctly? Or am I forcing scripture to say what I want it to? Thanks

I don't understand what you're teaching people. You should let the Bible describe the Bible. You sound very knowledgeable but the Bible is the mind's true liberation and that's what you should be teaching them

There are Christians (believe it or not) that actually have real tangible experiences of God. Then there are Christians that deny experience completely and say the Bible alone is the way to go. In my opinion, the latter type of Christian isn't born again or regenerated by the Holy Spirit and therefore they are professing Christians or nominal believers.
