Ive just bought the FZ82 & it's brill , i had a nikon bridge camera before that & it was rubbish ,ive always loved panasonic cameras they're excellent , & love all the features on it , must have sat for hours looking through all the settings lol .

Owned this camera from 2016-2018. Although the camera was a bit slow, so, I still remember that it took pretty good concert pictures. However, it was more difficult to get this camera into concert as it looked like a system camera.

I say Old Ham, Jolly good, thanks for the video. I was surprised with the image quality in this device back in 2015 and how well it produced for such a tiny sensor. Thanks for the video…..toodles😊

Is this a good camera for indoor pictures? I love the zoom and macro on this (from what I've seen), but is it any good for taking low light pics, and pics of moving subjects? Like taking pictures of your children/pets in the house? Thank you :)

+Serendipity86UK Yes, it usually works very well for moving objects, and low light is pretty good. video isn't the best but its still well worth it!

Hi there, I would like to ask for some help here... I am trying to buy a relatively good camera on a budget...one that has an acceptable zoom, creates high quality videos and specially makes nice photos and videos under poor illumination/night... I cannot spend more than 300eur/350 USD.. whch one of these would be enough for an amateur like me... Olympus PEN E-PL6 Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ70

Seems to me that all FZ72 made Pictures are kinda fuzzy.

1200mm max focal length is the same as you'd get from the canon Hs50. 50x optical zoom, for sheer brining in the distant up close you can't beat the sony 63x optical zoom, it's doesn't have such a wide angle starting points but reaches out to around 1600mm, similar price and specs, no 1080 only 720, but 1080 is just a number and a highly compressed 1080 video won't look at good as a high end 720 video. neither are particularly good in low light, that's the draw back, for low light you want a dslr, but then you won't get the big zoom

If I could give the Japanese any advice they MIGHT listen too it would to have their manuals written, NOT by a Japanese who speaks good English but by an Englishman who speaks good Japanese. The reason for that is because no matter how much better their manuals are today, the Japanese usage of the English language is just far enough off natural to be a real pain in the ass. The way in which sentences are constructed by Japanese English speakers when they write is wide enough of the mark to make reading their writing a serious headache. PLEASE JAPAN.....Sort this out...OH, and the shitty menu system on this camera.

InTheNameOfJustice Just Learn Japanese, it's just a Language like any other, should only take about 9 months, then the problem will be solved
