Where I am from our utility network was built in Jurassic Era. What you proposing is interesting but the only way we would l update our utility network is if ESRI would open a permanent office here in Djibouti, East Africa (Country where the base Camp Leumonier set her base). So no we don't use Arcgis Pros. I use Arcgis 10.2 and Acgis online, i have a web licence that will end up in 1170 credit. But i am in contact with Esri Kenya concerning other Census data.

It looks like ESRI is going to leave the users of the US Local Govt Model (Modified by me for use in our Canadian Municipality) who rely on Geometric Networks out in the cold. We are going to be stuck with ArcMap without the ability to edit Geometric Networks in ArcGIS Pro. I can see the need for a system that scales up like the Utility Network for many large organizations but it is simply too much for many of us unless ESRI somehow offers a watered down version that runs in ArcGIS Pro. As a small City of 20,000 we can't afford 17K year for Enterprise and depending upon who you talk to another license for Utility Network. I have been told two different things: Network Utiltity is 16K here in Canada, one other municipality I know has been told included with their Enterprise. ESRI's own documentation for Enterprise says Network Utility is another paid extension not included in Enterprise.
