You are making me want to add Ecuador to my travel list. Looked like quite a long day.
@StephenandAndie2 жыл бұрын
it was long, but totally worth it! Ecuador is such a diverse country - so many different types of things to do and see there. We highly recommend it!

Definitely a trip we'd recommend! Even with the scaries (and the mouse we ended up having in our bed, as seen in the Amazon at Night vlog), it was so cool to be so immersed in nature like that.

Y'all are living the dream. Keep them coming! I appreciated the rainforest facts. Love seeing the wildlife. The shot at 5:04 looks unreal, very narrow!

Thanks, Cy! That was pretty narrow. The canoe rides were so awesome!

10 hour bus rides are so exhausting and then 2 hours in a boat, this is a wild trip already.

The payoff was more than worth the long trip. Plus, the canoe ride (just the first of many during our stay) is so, so cool! The sights and sounds of all the wildlife along the way is just 🤯!

As Patti and I watch this, half the time, we are like, "Yeah, nope!" 😂The other half, we're, "Oh, well that is cool," "Or, that looks like fun." We're soooo conflicted!

I get that! The journey back and forth is a lot and waking up to something in our bed (coming soon) was a big no for us, but getting to be there and experience a part of the world like that was amazing and totally worth it.

No offence but I’m not sure why you felt the need to say you’re in someone’s home as a guest as that’s literally always the case when you travel somewhere internationally.
@StephenandAndie9 күн бұрын
no offense taken! we agree completely, not just international travel, but anytime you go anywhere away from your own home. Unfortunately, we see in our travels that things like being a good guest, not littering, taking water on hikes, not approaching wildlife, etc. are not as common sense and common knowledge as we would think. since we make videos that might encourage someone to visit a place, we also feel the need to remind and help prepare them for going there.
@MagentaOtterTravels2 жыл бұрын
The journey to your destination sounded super horrible!
@StephenandAndie2 жыл бұрын
haha! it was long - especially the bus portion, but we slept through a lot of that. But the river/canoe portion was fantastic, even with all the rain! It was an adventure.
@MagentaOtterTravels2 жыл бұрын
@@StephenandAndie The problem with me is I might not have slept on the bus. So then I would’ve just been mega mega cranky once we got to the boat part!
