I lived in Massachusetts all my life, recently I moved to New Hampshire where there is no state income tax and no sales tax. The rural areas have bargains to be found. I love Maine but my daughter and grandchildren are here and that keeps my wife happy. The people here are more open and friendly.

I’ve looked a little in NH but didn’t find much. Maine seems like a good stop for me. Understood about not leaving the kids.

Believe this, the First ten pounds losing weight are the Hardest. You've beaten that, plus Admitting to another person you want to lose weight, so itleeps ypu accountable to yourself. You got this Brother. Do it, you will feel like 25 again once you lose what you want to . I'm praying for you. Amen,, Big Jim New Hampshire USA aka Boston Strong

New subscriber here. I found you today and watched a few of your videos. I live in southern Vermont and have long dreamed about an off grid cabin on some land in NH or Maine. I have viewed several places online in the Houlton area. For me it's 480 one way miles up there. Would be great though for a trip or two during the 3 good seasons to spend away for a month or two at a time. Enjoy your videos and absolutely it's all about the journey getting there!

480, not too bad. I’m over 700. It’s a long drive, but when I arrive, things really slow down and I like that.

Good reminder to enjoy the journey! I'm in central Texas and it's not always fast and it can be costly.

There is a reason ducks are called “Waterfowl” because they fowl up their water and make a mess and smell lol. We have 12 ducks so we are constantly changing waters. The solar power stations on the market today are amazing! I have both the Bluetti EB55 (700w) 537wh and the Anker CS 800 (1600w Surge) 1200w load with 768wh with the 100w solar panel. Both units are great and we have been using both for various projects and applications without issue. It’s amazing what you can do with them. We are going camping next month in the White Mountains of NH and will be bringing one of them with us to have in our canvas tent. Keep up the great work on the videos, Really hope you can get the opportunity to get back up north to look at some properties. Looking forward to it!

lol, yes ducks do stink. I tell them everyday I’m gonna make them duck dinner, lol. Yes, the power stations are really cool! I have not geeked out over something like this in a long while. Cool thing is there are cheaper spare battery options. The Old Jarhead KZbin channel and he was showing how. Should work with any power stations.

Been awhile, glad you updated us on your health. You say you are feeling better, well, you look better. I'd let wildlife take care of the fox, before coming North, so the fox will be far, far away, hopefully never to return It's the rainy season Weather guy said that Maine gets the most of the rain in October, I never realized that as it seems the Spring gives plenty of rain. Anyway, Got a sleeping bag and thick socks we are starting to turn the heat on.

So glad you are taking this time to enjoy what you are doing and also gather more tools for your future plans! I hope the fox gets taken care of, one way or another, and you can not have to worry about that particular predator. Those night eye predator things you talked about near the beginning sound interesting, would like to know how well they work once you have tried them! Might be something to invest in myself in the future, when the time comes.

If the night eye work I’ll add them to one of my videos. I installed them, seemed quiet last night. Except for a fix or raccoon who broke my trap and ate all the bait, lol.

I'm new to your channel I enjoy your content if you have a chance check out sparky's 506 adventures he just put the AC300 in his cabin might be something helpful to you.

Thanks. Yes, I want a larger unit also. I got the AC180 for a very small cabin, weekend use and it's my first unit, so $459 is not a bad price to learn about portable solar units. Take care!
