I completed danger 5 on 90% of the characters, but Saver is the one I hate the most by far! I don’t know why but it feels like there is some hidden stat that makes you way more squishy than other characters. I will try your strategy, thanks!

The thing about padding is that you need to win with saver without it regardless since its the savers unlock. That being said this run would most likely still ended up the same without it, and you can always play danger lvl 0 first to get the unlock first anyways. All and all it was a good run.

That's a good point! I appreciate you pointing it out. You will need to clear on D0 to unlock padding, which will make a D5 clear much easier when padding is included in the item pool.

Yeah I noticed the same thing. I tried with thief daggers and died on D0. tried spears on D1 (for more mobs) and did it first try

Subbed as I have watched a few of your vids and they have helped - thanks for all the hard work! One request would be to have a summary/snapshot of the key items, weapons and stats to push for. I skip to the end of your runs to see your final/penultimate shop screen to work it out now :) Please also remember that many players will not have some items unlocked by completing with another character!

I swear most of the guides for Saver can be summarized by "get really lucky early on, like magically getting the Recycling machine in round 3, getting several weapon speed upgrades to make the spears woth anything and not get boss on round 11 several times in a row and die miserably". Worst character in the game, so weak, so terrible. I've done almost everyone else on D5 and I've been trying this worthless bastard like 20 times already, can you feel the salt? Even at 1800 by round 11 it just feels pathetically weak. Pure luck based trash.

Community is the BiS item for this char as spear only weakness here is the attack speed. Been trying to do saver for at least 10 tries but always get fucked because of getting swarmed
