Getting Washed at the Hookipa Rocks with my windsurf gear / Ricardo Campello

I spend a lot of times on those rocks at Hookipa but this is the first time I get the whole thing on video thanks to @robbyswift
Most of the times is easy and when you least expect it it can be hard on you! Yesterday I was surprised how gnarly it was but luckily I’m ok !
There’s actually no easy way to come out of there!
How to escape hookipa Rocks and your mast breaks and do your best not to get hurt !

Mate I'm glad you're OK! I've paid my dues on rocks around the world, so know the feeling! You had the right idea keeping the head up and feet first, worse when the rocks are covered in sharp oyster shells that shred sails and feet and wetsuits . . .

It's great you've no injuries, Man! My stepping on a sea urchin after dropping next to a coral reef feels much less horrible now.
