Hi Lewis I had a 15 tonne one for a couple of years Great kit but upgraded to the towable 22 tonne. On my machines the two handles were a ball break so I made a two tube fixed together with a handle in the middle so I can split quicker with one hand free it's a Life saver.... Also take the one tray log catch thing off it catches in your clothing lol.... Great kit I highly recommend them myself Shane 😊👍
@LewisgardenservicesLtdКүн бұрын
I rigged up a single handle but thought I best stay health and safety for the video 😅👍 bet the 22 ton cuts anything 👌

Sounds like you’ve got the engine rpm up pretty high. I’ve got the 12 ton venom from Rock Machinery with the B&S Vanguard engine and I’ve got to say even with the engine on half throttle the splitting performance is practically the same. Might be worth playing around with to save a few pennies on fuel and keep the noise down a bit. Great video 👍
@LewisgardenservicesLtdКүн бұрын
Yea, we had it full beans 😅 ran it since down a bit and like you say still great 👍 cheers

Love mine, can’t fault Rock as a company from order to delivery. I have taken round supports off of the checker plate because they rattle and the noise drove me mad. Otherwise fantastic productive bit of kit. Tidy 👍

very dangerest way to split logs its ment for the one person should use both hands so you dont get hurt not a great thing to show at all
@LewisgardenservicesLtdКүн бұрын
I can see how you can get injured but like most things you do common sense usually helps you keep safe👍 thanks
@andrewstafford-jones4291Күн бұрын
You should never let another person operate the controls whilst you are holding the log - its madness. Why is it so very slow?
