G'day Achonk. One reason why less Australians are visiting Bali is the cost of living in Australia. Many people just don't have the money to spare to fly to DPS ✈️ No such problem for me though, as I'm single so can afford two trips a year to your great island.

Airfares are expensive and Bali has got expensive. Some of the prices are higher than in Australia. I go twice a year, but I don’t know how much longer I can afford to do it. We have a cost of living crisis here, but people in Bali think we are all rich.

Feel like the more and more western investors come to Bali causing the price rise since they trying to westernized the price too. Might try somewhere outside southern Bali as they quieter and still cheaper

We’re in Legian atm but took our scooter across to Sanur last night. We could not believe the amount of development in Sanur in the last couple of years! It was BUSY too! The tourists looked more like accountants and business owners than tradies and office workers imho. Seems to me that the people who can afford to travel can afford to stay in Sanur and prefer the more western facilities and shopping experience there. Gelato Massimo was cued up three deep! Meanwhile the rents and mortgages skyrocketing in Australia many traditional Bali tourists can’t afford to travel internationally. No more cheap flights since CV19. 😢Even the Sanur beach hawkers were less committed to the sale and promptly wandered off. 🤣 That said we had a great one course dinner for two and drinks for 350k Rp ($35 Aus) at a beautiful restaurant where we were seated on the sand overlooking the fishing boats. Exquisite! Please come to Bali and support this treasure. The people miss you and need your support. The weather here has been great for the past 10 days. 🙏

It's rainy season, the beaches are very dirty, It's expensive, traffic is terrible, so there are not much reasons to come to Bali anymore. We go to Thai­land now, no rain, clean and nice beaches, traffic normal, very good food, etc.

@balitravelvlog6989 No, the food is very cheap and much more extensive than in Bali/Indonesia; for little money you can live like a king in Thailand. There are a lot of cheap restaurants and a lot of delicious food markets. I/we never order food online, we don't like stale and cold food. The food freshly prepared/cooked tastes best. And the onlinefood produce a lot of wast, this is not ecolocigal...
