Saban has won 7 national titles at the highest level of college football and put hundreds of men in the NFL, he has earned the right to give constructive criticism to his players.

In high school basketball, I got double teamed , in a corner, and tried to pass it and it got stolen and dunked other end. My coach called a time out, his head exploding and he exclaimed repeatedly: “YOU EAT THE FUCKIN BALL!! YOU EAT THE FUCKIN BALL!!!! YOU EAT THE FUCKIN BALL!!!!!!!!!!” Indicating I should have just held the ball tightly until a jumpball was called . 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 In front of the whole damn county on a Friday night 😂

It prevents you from slacking off and being lazy, but it can also cause people to quit. But that's not all he does threw out the whole practice. They should also show when he not yelling. I know one of the things you don't want to do is tell a person he's doing a good job job when he's slacking but you also don't want to beat down a person when he's working his butt off. I think you need a combination of both, which I think chris Saber does. Lmao, I can't imagine constantly getting yelled at the whole time. I'm sure most of it is more of pushing you.

The turnaround Nick Saban made as soon as he went to Alabama was probably one of the biggest and most consistent in the history of sports. Alabama was a mediocre program my whole life until Saban came. Won a championship in his third year there, then was the favorite basically every year since then.

@thisthresh4248 Mike Vrabel isn't Bill Belichick. The point is..Belichick has proven that Sabans coaching style DOES work in the NFL. Hell, he coached under Belichick in Cleveland. As good as Thomas was...he's no Vrabel, McGuinest, or Bruschi. All Super Bowl winning LineBackers were coached hard under Belichick. Perhaps Thomas can't take tough coaching....

I came in a little to happy after an L and the coach after practice asked if I was good enough to play. I thought I was being respectful and told him that’s up to him. He proceeded to tell me I was nothing to the team, I’ll never play and when I come in happy again I was to leave the building and never come back cause I’ll never amount to anything in life. That was the worst one I was told. Worst one I ever heard was a coach tell a guy he would kill himself if he had to coach him everyday.
