This is the best virtual auto tour online . I like that it shows and points out street names and locations of battles. It gives a better perspective on terrain and location of battles in relationship to one another. Thank you!

You are welcome! I failed to mention that I was happy the chatter was not present and just relaxing music was played. And there were no clunky car sounds! The driver seemed to stay the 25 mph and did not rush through any part of the video! Very nice! A map was also provided which is definitely a plus. Even though the camera pointed straight ahead I did enjoy the large window view and the camera did not wobble or bob about. The video lasted an hour I believe and not an annoying 10 minutes. Thank you for the nice presentation and I say good job!! I would perhaps like to see the camera remotely controlled so as to see the points of interest but you still have an excellent video!! Thank you because I and possibly other history buffs otherwise may not see these sites . awesome job!!!

Yeah, really. Gettysburg is a most scenic and beautiful site to behold and travel😊 It's well worth the trip there. I haven't been to it in ages. Not since being in my early 20s after college. In fact, that was in late June, 1992 just weeks before they started filming Gettysburg the movie there in some actual battlefield locations!! 1 of the park rangers told us (I went with my uncle and 2 cousins- his sons) about the upcoming filming.

@@TravelTowner Thank you, sir or ma'am, for a most detailed and exceedingly excellent presentation concerning the video. My utmost compliments👌 l only wish I'd waited a few months to go, so I would've been able to see some of the making of the Gettysburg film and possibly meet a few of its stars. A missed opportunity to do so

This was really good. It has been a while since I was last there but I used to be there at least once if not 2 or 3 times a year for living history events or just visiting with my wife. I have retired from living history so haven't been back for the past 3 years. I love Gettysburg and it seemed as if every turn you made in the video I was saying hello to an old friend. So many memories from just about every road you drove on. You very much brought me back there even though I now look on from Long Island. Well done!

I had 3 great- uncles that died there, 2 on the first day of fighting and one mortally wounded the first day. They were volunteers from Pennsylvania. The one who was wounded had a note in his pocket to tell his family what had happened to his brothers. He has a marker but they were in the mass grave. Isn’t that poignant?

WOW, Ms. Garber, that's an amazing anecdote😟 1 of my great-great maternal uncles was a captain in the 18th Pennsylvania regiment that fought on the east end of the Wheatfield during the afternoon of the 2nd day. His company, as commander, started the morning with 127 men, including the officers. By the time of nightfall, there were 19 men left, including him.

He had a minor leg wound, sustained during the fighting there. He stayed in the field and had it dressed. He thankfully survived the war and revisited Gettysburg some years later in the 1880s shortly before he passed. Capt. Jonathan Garrison, Company A, 2nd Battalion
