I love it.Was last in Gettysburg in 1989 and I am wondering if this store was there at that time. There was a store near the Cemetary Gates, but it was more artifacts, nothing like this one.

I had the metal Ft Apache as a kid 50 years ago. Lots of hours of fun with it. I took a History course in Jr High that allowed us to play war games to experience battles from history and write a paper on the experience.

Many miniature war gamers are veterans and HG Wells who created miniature war games had the view of a pacifist and hoped it would replace real combat. Donald Featherstone father of miniature war games in 1960s was a WWII vet.
