Hey Roth love your videos but you only talk about the good shows come on my brother I know you went and taped content on a bad show you set up for and i guess because you were the headliner of the show and probably got paid for showing up and you don’t want to say anything bad but that American Dream mall show in NJ was bad crappy vendors for the most part, empty tables and dealers selling anything but cards like cups, drawing LOL keep it real that show was the worst so talk about the good and the bad my brother

i see these videos all the time where people are spending tens of thousands of dollars and im curious how much profit are you gonna make on a 50k investment i buy and sale cards myself if i spend a grand at a show i can usually double my money if not more buying 3-100$ cards i understand the amount of work and time you have to put in but the roi is so much higher on the smaller cards i just cant see myself spending 50k to make 2-5k profit unless i have the deal already set up

I dont think anyone can make a living buying sports cards from dealers and reselling them for profit… dealer sell at close to comps. dealers make money buying at 60to 70% of comps and making money… I really think between travel costs and expensense you lose mony … u r making money in other ways on u channel.. can you tell me what those other ways r ? they are not the buying from dealers and selling.. for sure…..

i dont think ive ever sold a card at 100 percent comp in person bro. only online does that ever happen, i resell pokemon and i always buy in bulk at 80-85 percent at shows. its the best place to do it because haggling in person is much easier than online. the reason he targets high end cards as well is because he knows he can pay below comp for them because nobody has 10 thousand dollars sitting around to pay for a card....so he will offer 9k and sell it for 10 online because that thing is gonna sit there for a while until the right collector comes along...you can just sell it to these flippers for slightly less for some quick cash and go invest it into something else...if you are a collector now days....i would mainly target sealed product. i doubt he makes much through his youtube, he says he mostly uses it to build a customer base and advertise the cards he is buying. the only big money he's getting from youtube is the sponsors, ive heard some of them pay you a couple thousand a month or just one big 20k check for 6 months of sponsored videos etc etc. its just like any other form of investing though, what these guys dont tell you is that they already had a lot of money before they could start investing. doesnt matter how good of a flipper you are if you're budget is 500 dollars. 99 percent of these investing guys(stocks cards dropshipping day trading crpyto) already have money.

Only a very small percentage of people in this industry make money... Panini at the top, the very few distributors that exist and control supply allocation, the dealers/shops that have the Good Old Boys connections, and then the very few "hobby influencers." I see it as if you are making a deal with certain people, just know you are getting the shaft.
