Y'all were talking while Morissette just sang the most difficult part of this song. You missed the extended riffing in her low register which more difficult than hitting the whistle note. The amount of breath control to do that extended low register riff in 1 single breath is astonishingly unbelievable. Whistle notes doesn't require much air to use and Morissette has mastered that whistle technique. Morissette just took this song to another level.

You are wrong Bruh! the first dialect She spoke is Bisaya because She was born in the province of Cebu(se-buh) which located in one of the biggest islands in the Philippines called VISAYA Island. the other are LUZON & MINDANAO where most Muslim Pilipino inhabited. but because TAGALOG is our Native tongue and used Nationwide She'll learn to speak that too, but in their province Visaya and English are most commonly used in their school and sometimes their pronunciations and grammars of english words are different from people of Luzon but when Morissette moved in to Manila Capital ofthe Country and in Luzon She learned to speaks good Tagalog too but She's better in English. Visayan dialect is hard its like a tongue twisting way! Most teachers in their province taught in Bisayan dialect combined with english so, in Manila students speaks Taglish combi of Tagalog English while in their place its Bisaya and English but most of them learned to speaks pure english language whenever they are in school and there are some teachers practiced their students by the rules of ' English Only in this room ! and you'll be fine small amount of money as penalty and they will collect that money and used for their field trips or Christmas party that's why a lot of them are already in America.

Yes you are right, Chris. English is taught in schools here in the Philippines.Tagalog or Filipino is our national language. We have several dialects and our mother tongue depends on which region we were born and raised.As for me, I was born in Bacolod City and our dialect is Ilonggo. I know how to speak Tagalog as well because we have Filipino subject in school. English is our secondary language. Love your reaction here. Well, Morissette was born in Cebu, located at the center of geography of the Philippines. Her native tongue or mother tongue is Cebuano like meee. FYI, Cebuano is very different from Tagalog from sentence construction to the words used. And when we attend school we were required to learn Filipino(standardized tagalog) and english. So yeah, that's it.

I think the song she finds the hardest to sing is Korean, she has to ask her friend to translate it and pronounce it properly so she can sing it correctly in Korean. Korean are really picky about people speaking their language properly, and the Korean audience approve of her skills.

Yes, though Filipino is our language, English is our second language. Instructions in schools is given in English as well. Since we are an archipelago with different dialects/languages, English is the major means to communicate to people in different places. There are some kids who learned English first than Filipino because their parents intend to.
