"The Voice of Germany" 2021
Nach den Blind Auditions, bei denen die Talente allein durch ihren Gesang überzeugen müssen und darauf hoffen, dass ein oder mehrere Coaches für sie buzzern, werden die Sängerinnen und Sänger von ihren Coaches betreut. Sie nehmen sich Zeit, um die Talente besser kennenzulernen, ihre Stärken auszufeilen und an Schwächen zu arbeiten. Dabei erhalten die Talente wichtige Ratschläge und Tipps, denn ab jetzt gilt es, sich gegen die anderen starken Musiker durchzusetzen.
In den folgenden Shows müssen die Talente die Battles und die Sing-Offs bestehen. Dabei singen sie gegeneinander und müssen als Besserer hervorgehen. In jeder Folge kommen nur einige Talente weiter, bis im Finale der Gewinner von den Zuschauern gewählt wird.
In Staffel 11 von "The Voice of Germany" nimmt die Soulsängerin und Songwriterin zum ersten Mal auf einem der roten Stühle Platz. Daneben feiert auch Sänger und Songwriter Johannes Oerding sein Debut am Buzzer. Sarah Connor und Johannes Oerding buhlen in den Blind Auditions an der Seite von Mark Forster und Nico Santos um die Gunst der besten Talente.

Seems like The Voice of Germany manipulated the result to suit the lyrics for Sebastian? They already received the original song right before the finals. How come they know what's exactly the song that the finalists will sing to fit for their rank. How about Gugu's original song? The lyrics goes something like these: "I only next to you", literally she's just next to Sebastian. Is this the reason why they abolished the solo performances? If Gugu just sang I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston, the result maybe quite diffirent I guess. But they'd already set the winner for this season from day 1.

For the first time in my life, I watched a singing show from another country, and for the first time I was also clear about the winner since his Blind audition . Sebastian has it all, the voice, the look and big charisma. I'm in love and I hope we will hear more about him. And his coach Johannes was excellent too, hats off! ♥️

Ich habe es gewusst. Wer sonst konnte so toll und vor allem allem so cool singen? Von ihm kann ich mir ein Konzert vorstellen. Bei ihm hat man das Gefühl, dass er für das Publikum singt. Nichts wirkt aufgesetzt. Er ist für die Musik geschaffen.

Glaube kaum, dass mit seiner Stimme beispielsweise Lieder wie "Numb" von Linkin Park berühmt geworden wären. Ich würde mir nicht so gern Lieder mit seiner Stimme anhören. Aber wenn andere da anderer Meinung sind, müsste er ja lang genug berühmt bleiben können...

You have a nice and great voice, and an amazing control of it. It's unbelievable how you can switch a refrain a step up, and hit all tones so perfectly right-away. You sing with your heart, and with your full face, and so you really express feelings. On top of that, you sing to the audience. You do not simply sing for yourself, you actually talk to the people while singing. You address the spectators in very sympathetic, and empathetic way and get everyone involved.
