I appreciate the (non-sponsored) review, and the support for Made in America products! Nicely done!

Thanks for watching! It’s hard to say no to a local US company. Pretty cool gadget, it got a bunch more use over this past weekend!

Bought a rechargeable boss water heater years ago. I'm going to try the geyser out just for showering. if it doesn't work out I will send it back. I bought a 5-gallon usb water dispenser with different ml settings for 25.00 and plumbed it into my aquatainers.

It so nice that you got one I know when I meet you at the Pacific Northwest Expo we were talking about it Very well made Review on the product I did get the one with out the heater building in and still have not had time to use it yet thanks for Sharing

You’ll love it! I do find myself just heating water up more often than using the electrical feature but I do like having the option. I should have bought mine at the show too, so I could have saved a few bucks!

Thanks for the review. We are definitely picking this up soon. Love how little water it uses and we can just power it off our Jackery 1000. Thanks for sharing!

Well received mine today after a hot day working on the power lines, I though it would be a good test. Stripped down in the garage, it was 86 degrees out! water was on the verge of being cold. Also, the flow valve was leaking. I thought they took care of that problem, but I guess not. Ran out of water before I was Done. Sending it back to Amazon tonight. I will keep using my boss heater and use a small sprayer if I want a water saving shower, but I will be able to increase the temperature at least.

I absolutely love the thing. Especially you are out there on a mountain bike, this would serve you well.

Thanks for this! I bought one from REI as I’ve been intrigued by it for a while. I was testing it this week for a video idea I had, but it didn’t go well (pretty sure just user error). I’m still testing it, but I’ll likely reference your video when I make my video granted I get my unit all sorted out. Really like this Colorado company tho so I’m hoping they do well!

What size sand mat is that you have? Do you double it up for using as a shower floor? Thank.

I am using the 8x8 and yes, we use it for the shower floor and it works great. I fold it to give me a little more distance from the dirt. amzn.to/3NhejNP

Just bought this for my FJ in Australia ($450 AUD). Expensive, but the fact it only uses 3 litres of water is great. The sponge idea is very efficient. Would t have found it if it wasn’t for your channel, this device really isn’t advertised over here.

Awesome man, you will love it! It’s really handy just being so portable. I am quite happy with mine and intend to keep using it for years!

@@IndependenceOverland I have received my heater unit, however mine has a problem. Once you’ve heated the water (electricity) and drained, I’ve filled with cold water and the thermostat is stuck and still says it’s above 100F and won’t heat. Takes a good 30 mins to realise it’s got cold water in it. Have you ever had this issue?
@IndependenceOverland Жыл бұрын
@@MuggsFJ No sir it’s not normal. Ive over heated water for mine, put cold water in it and it still takes about 30 seconds to register but certainly not 30 minutes. They are a small, and very helpful company I would shoot them an email. If it’s a problematic unit they will replace it for you. Sorry to hear yours had trouble, a know a lot of people with them and haven’t heard many complaints so I assure you this isn’t a wide spread issue!

@@IndependenceOverland I will reach out to them. Interested to see how you incorporate it to your new build!

You’re right, they were fast. Fixed now 👌 super happy. Was going to copy your heat exchanger setup but this is so much simpler and very water efficient.

I would like to use a faucet like dometic or the one that the tube comes out the bottom, could I cut a hole in the lid side that doesn’t have the pump switch or will that side only have the cold water side?
@IndependenceOverland5 ай бұрын
I suppose you could, but this thing only holds like .8 gallons of water. The taller side is just the bump and whatever else, so it doesn't hold as much water as you might imagine. You defintly could tap into it though. You would need to drill the top, and drop a pick up tube down towards the bottom. Id personally do that instead of drilling anywhere else because if you decide it doest work later on, I am sure they would just sell you a new lid.

what would work best if you had a permanet hose setup that u could plug in at a rv site
@IndependenceOverland Жыл бұрын
With unlimited water as well? I would think the Joolca systems would be great for that.

@@IndependenceOverland yes i got unlimited water at my rv site i pay 1000 a month for but no hot water

I’d go @Joolca for that 100%. Propane heater, and instant hot water.
