Almost a century later and Still we haven't learned to share with others? It's a true shame, that some live in luxury and such large parts of the world live in gross poverty. Advancement of the human heart seems to be the next necessary step.

@@gardenjoy5223 so all the money donated to charities by regular people and the billions of aid sent over the last century doesn't count ? Some places are bottomless money pits.
@gardenjoy52233 жыл бұрын
@@jenster29 I did not say the first and I do agree with the latter. Somehow we make gross mistakes. The human heart tends to be selfish to the core. We don't mind giving something from our surplus, especially when it makes us feel good about ourselves. We don't mind when others have something too, as long as we have more. We live in ridiculous circumstances, where some children are aborted from the womb, some children starve to death and others are showered with expensive toys. Fair wages for honest work would be a good start, as is good housing for a fair price, as is basic health care for all. Instead, people wage war, destroying others and their livelihoods. So yeah, the advancement of the human heart is very necessary. But I also know it's utopia. People love their sins a lot more, than they love their fellow human beings. Still, one by one, people can be changed. I know I was changed from a greedy person into a giving person, when I came into contact with Jesus Christ. He is still capable of doing such miracles.
@jenster293 жыл бұрын
@@gardenjoy5223 wrong. That's not people or the human heart. That's governments tricking people into wars etc. You've been gaslit into thinking *we* are the bad guys. No. People are naturally giving, we see that every day when there is a disaster or something. Millions of people give what they can. But putting yourself in poverty does NOT help others more. You're just poor too. It's not " utopia" this is a reality in many countries. I'm living in my 3rd European country. Bought a house while on a 6 month work contract...e.g earning basic money. Access to top medical care and no different treatment based on how much you earn. Free education until 18 and manageable University fees. Homelessness is quite low too, there is zero need for anyone to be on the streets. These things happen because the populations are willing to help each other out. THAT is human nature. And they're doing all that without religion 🤷♀️
