I took a new straight talk sim card added 45$ plan on it then took it out the phone that was working fine. Put it in the gf-09 and when i text 999 for tracking it says no data and i never receive a text back! I hate buy items off of wish when the directions blows. Please help me.

Does it have to be a 2G Sim network as stated in the manual as there is no 2g network in Australia just 3 ,4,5 G.. I can't get it to reply a text back .and is the number you put in your phone your phone number or 5hr gps Sim number

Do not buy GF-09 as it uses mobile cellular network to triangulate its location. It does not uses GPS triangulation.

How is it possible, that you have phone next to device but on map it shows several blocks away? It is not GPS tracker but it gets location from GSM network...

A mi me pasaba igual... Primera que nada, el SIM debe tener compatibilidad 2G (red que en muchos paises esta descontinuada para uso comercial). En mi caso compre un SIM Telcel (de México) configurado para aceptar 2G. Pero aun así tuve que configurar manualmente en el GPS el APN de la compañia que te da el servicio. Busca en internet los parametros de configuracion y envia un SMS APN#direccionAPN#usuario#contraseña#, quedando asi en mi caso: APN#internet.itelcel.com#webgprs#webgrps2002# El tema con el que ahora estoy peleando es que la ubicacion es muy imprecisa. Sin moverme de lugar, el GPS envia punteos que varian hasta 2km de mi ubicacion fisica y cambia constantemente, generando "tracking" (recorridos) en puntos que ni he ido.

It's NOT GPS? It uses GSM / GPRS which is no good if you live too far away from a mobile cell tower :-)
