Problem with many tiny chinese GPS are that they have no GPS chip and rely on cell site location (location based services) which for many countries is useless due to privacy laws. There are genuine GPS device that are tiny, but you get what you pay for.

Disgraceful putting purchase links in the description without even mentioning that it *does not have GPS*, and will subsequently only give you a very rough approximation of the location from the cellphone towers nearby. Likewise that they seemingly only work on completely outdated(& often shut down) 2g networks.

It's garbage, doesn't even have a real GPS radio, only sends the nearest cell site coordinates, and even that to some funky Chinese web page. lol Its primary use is audio monitoring, but definitely not real GPS.

I have purchased 3 of these trackers. Fully charged and fitted with an activated Sim Card, they all light up as expected, however, none of them will connect to my Sim Card. I can only assume that these trackers WILL NOT WORK in Australia.

@@reallyfurious I think you might be spot on. I tried them with an ordinary 3G/4G Optus Sim card and a Data Sim as well just to make sure. Also I have had a very limited and confused reply from the supplier. Other complainants from some other countries have had no response.

It says that works with 850,900,1800,1900 band but Tryied with 850 and 1900 (claro, Tigo, movistar) that have in Colombia but doesn’t work. Someone knows what could happend?

If you use goggle Maps it will come up in English on the map. This might help in setting everything up. Function Instructions: Record: Send number 555 to alarm phone, begin to record. Sound monitoring: Send number 666 to alarm phone GPS track: Send number 777 to alarm phone, the phone receive geographic position and map link. Positioning trajectory: Send number 102 to alarm phone. Delete Memory Card Content: Send Number 445 to alarm phone. Reboot the phone: Send number 999 to alarm phone, start success after 1 minute. Reset the phone: Send number 444 to alarm phone.

No. It is funny that they have big boxes to put but does not have money to print a bigger paper or pay extra cents for the 0.00001 mg of extra paper. It is junk. They can't tell what technology this device can be used. Currently they seem to be selling for the 10 year old technology by putting some copper cards that doesnot work in the current day. Hey that is a great way to make money. Even you can ship a piece of copper and take money and dont care to respond because you can be in China or romania.

This is basically a mini cell phone and the one I have seen are Quad band GSM Band: 850/900/1800/1900Mhz. However the mapping may or may not work you might have to find a mapping service unless Goggle Maps work there is so then you will be all set looking up the carrier frequencies I could only find one that works with this tracking device and that is Safaricom 2. But you might want to call Different companies and give them the Frequencies and they will be able to tell you if their Chips (Sim) will work
