Hi MH, There is no sound difference to be brutally honest...it is a recirculating valve so it does not vent to air and make a sound...if its sound you are after then the forge dv is better for you as it vents to air giving you the hissing sound when you release the throttle...Please like and subscribe! Hi tim, did you get error code after installing this diverter valve? i had installed on my car it throws P0039 Code and the exhaust crackles is gone .

Hi tim, been trying to find my diverter valve to my B-class AMG line but i never see it.could u please help me to find the diverter valve,i was thinking maybe they mount underneath but i tried To remove the cover underneath my car but still no chance to see it, many thanks

Not sure mate, to be honest I took it out only last week as I had to send the car back into Mercedes for some warranty work and couldn't be bothered with them trying to blame the turbo lol You got a hybrid turbo on the a250? Tim Williams yeah did quite a few mods and it's over 300hp. Getting the gearbox remapped soon so should be able to push 350

Hey, Tim. Watch your videos from time to time when I’m doing research for my own automotive endeavors, and your videos appear in my search. So, I wanted to shoot you a heads up. Been researching which direction I wanted to go for a diverter setup on my 2011 A3 Quattro. GFB DV+ is definitely the way I’m going. Anyway, I noticed something in researching just that, and I wanted to notify you of it, just looking out as a fellow automotive enthusiast. I came across the literature and video of manufacturers creating knock-off DV+ parts. Could be nothing, but in the video that exists, showing the real and fake DV+ diverter attachments side by side, the fake had tell tale with certain aesthetics like the foam that holds the parts inside the box. Your DV+ unit had the foam that came with the fake version in the video. Maybe it’s authentic and the video comparison was wrong wasn’t exactly correct, but I noticed it, and couldn’t not say anything to a fellow enthusiast who does his own work and takes the time out to help others the same. That Merc is serious, and I’d want you to give your DV+ addition a double check, just incase. Not that it’s definitely counterfeit, or that a fake would result in catastrophic failure, but again, I couldn’t not mention it to you, when I noticed what I did. Best of luck, bud.

Much appreciated...AMD tuning are one of the licensed companies that sell it and I went there and picked it up in person to be sure...I've seen some of those videos but mine is deffo legit and I think I even registered it with serial number and everything is well!
