If you claim you want sound doctrine, quit denying the very scriptures you claim to defend. You deny the works, power and gifts of the Holy Spirit. There is not one shred of biblical evidence to support your claims. You borderline teach and blaphsemy the Holy Spirit with your teachings against Him. Yes, healings, miracles, tongues, prophets and apostles are all still in the bible and are still in operation today despite what you teach. Your teachings are false and deceive many. Without the works of the Holy Spirit, all of them, without true prophets and apostles today, the church is incomplete, weak and powerless to overcome the devil, the flesh, the world and sin. We love and need you Holy Spirit and all of your gifts and power. Amen. We love and thank you Jesus for GIVING us ALL the 5 fold gifts, apostle, prophet, evangelist, teacher and pastor, not just pastor. We thank you Lord for Eph. 2:20 which says the foundation of the church is built upon apostle and prophet. We thank you Lord for 1st Corinthians 12:28 for proving that the gifts Jesus gave are still for us today. Thank you.

I have no idea what Calvanism is, except for Tulip...the 5 points of calvanism...there is nothing more true or sound than those 5 points....what else is there to calvanism that people have a big problem with?...the 5 points are irrefutable....what other things did calvan say...Explain...🤔

​@miker72794 pride is found in people, not a doctrine. The doctrine of TULIP teaches humility, not pride. It says that God is the source of salvation. The others teach that they are the source of salvation. That is prideful.

@@gsolly4063 I reject the TULIP of Calvanism. But I do not believe that I am the source of my salvation . The blood of Christ is the source of my salvation. My believing in Christ does not display arrogance. The view that God "chose" you, but not your neighbor, is a true display of not only arrogance, but utter ignorance.

​@@billmartinn9851Romans chapters 8 and 9 teaches the TULIP. Everyone in the scriptures was chisen by God, not the other way around. No man can come to the Father unless the spirit draws them. It doesn't say if they chose the Father then the Spirit draws them. Not everyone is drawn by the Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the Author of Salvation, this is not about some personal persuasion, our hearts are to be knit together with the Kingdom purpose, the Salvation of every soul, not a petty agreement with Calvin’s teaching or even Voodie’s teaching, the plan of Salvation originated with Almighty God before we arrived on the planet. The Gospel of Salvation is God’s!!!

@ no one disputes that the Holy Spirit convicts people of sin when they hear the Gospel, BUT everyone has a choice after that, soften their heart and come to Christ or harden their heart and reject them. No where in scripture does it say when someone chooses Christ and believes, it’s a selfish work, or man saving himself, Calvinism says it is. Calvinism takes what God tells us to do which is believe, and says “You can’t do that”.
