Really need to stop with this "Citizen Scientist" nonsense. Most scientist in the world on non career scientist, work regular day jobs and not biased by funding through universities. I am a non career scientist with a focus on fluid dynamic. I am no laymen in this topic of fluid dynamics. My level of expert knowledge exceeds many an aeronautical engineers expertise regarding the fundamental interactions of fluids. And yes bumble bees can in fact fly. Tell the paleontologist that works a regular day job he's not a "real" scientist and is a layman "Citizen Scientist". I dare you please.
